Voter Services: Committee Program Plans
 

We are committed to “getting out the vote” in free and fair elections. 

Develop and implement a plan to increase voter registration and voter turnout for returning Amendments 4 citizens, and in Hispanic, African American, and other minority communities. 

Continue to implement a plan to distribute voter educational materials to encourage voter education and voter turnout with an emphasis on Vote by Mail. 

Sponsor televised candidate forums and non-partisan issue forums in cooperation with other community agencies. 

Monitor Supervisor of Election and Canvassing Board meetings. 

Continue involvement in Know Your County Government Teen Citizenship Program.

Minority and youth Voter engagement 

General Election Support – Candidate forums, education, adopt a precinct, etc. 

Vote by Mail: 
Educational initiatives for the voter – what, how, when, privacy issues in returning ballots 
Logistical support – return mail support/signature issues/collection of ballots, support to CC SOE office in their initiatives, etc. o Lobbying state and local leaders for extensions of time and expansion of early voting as outlined in the SOE Association letter to DeSantis and as supported by Florida League 
Letters to editor or guest columns 
Monitoring issues that arise in federal legislation and engaging in advocacy – funding, USPS issues, etc.
