Social Policy Committee Meeting

Michael Puchalla headshotThe guest speaker for the May Social Policy Committee meeting is Michael Puchalla, the Executive Director of the Housing Development Corporation of SW Florida, Inc., which started the Collier County Community Land Trust. Mr. Puchalla recently organized a new housing initiative called The Housing Alliance.

As Attainable Housing is a primary issue for this Committee, it is important that our members know the functions of the Land Trust and The Housing Alliance so that we can effectively support housing initiatives and be an integral part of The Housing Alliance.

Following Mr. Puchalls’s presentation, the Reproductive Health Subcommittee will meet to discuss future plans.


Directions: Enter Moorings Park from the traffic light at Goodlette-Frank Road and Granada ( do not use Solana Rd.). After going through entrance, turn right onto Moorings Park Drive and continue until you reach the stop sign. Turn right , go past buildings on your right and turn left at “t”. There will be parking spaces in front of building. There will be a sign at entrance to West Lobby. Take elevator to second floor, rear.
