The Florida Center for Government Accountability is approaching its 3rd year as a non-partisan, not-for-profit investigative news organization. The mission of FLCGA is to hold government accountable to its citizens, produce well sourced quality reporting that illuminates complex issues and to enhance civic engagement in the democratic process.

Speaking to us will be Barbara Petersen, the Executive Director. Barbara, an attorney, founded the First Amendment Foundation 25 years ago, and served as its director for 25 years. Barbara will be sharing some of the investigative stories they have published.

Linda Penniman, co-Founder of FLCGA with Barbara and a member of our League will introduce Barbara.
