Past President Charlotte Nycklemoe has been appointed to the League of Women Voters Florida Board. She will be a dynamic contributor to the mission of the Board and will represent the concerns of Southwest Florida. She also serves as Chair of the LWVFL Juvenile Justice Committee (Juvenile Delinquency Action Committee), working “to improve outcomes for at-risk youth in Florida by supporting and influencing best practice policies through education and advocacy.” The group is focusing on increasing the use of Civil Citations and decreasing the use of Direct File for juveniles.
