CELEBRATING EARTH DAY,
MAKING OUR PRESENCE KNOWN

Earth Day at Cambier Park found many people checking out the booths. Most of the people who came over to our League booth were registered to vote but were looking for additional literature and conversation. Thank you to our volunteers:  For Environmental Affairs: Patti Forkan, Susan Pezzullo, Gary Bromley, Susan Calkins, Char Nycklemoe, Peggy Greider, Diane Aronson, Liz Feit, Judy Hushon, Louise Cromwell, Lynn Martin; for Voter Services: Cynthia Cromwell, Mary Jo Nolin  Laura Hansen , Betty Schwartz, Suzanne Zellner .Judi Palay, Tina Palmese, and Gary Bromley. Gary gets extra special thanks for setting up and helping to take down our tent and displays, assisted by the Forkans. Stacy Vermylen took charge of the booth at the Conservancy. Hopefully the message was clear: this election is very important; please make sure you are properly registered to vote!
