On Monday evening, November 8, 2021, the Naples United Church of Christ sponsored a program “On Voter Access”. Jennifer Edwards, Supervisor of Elections (SOE) Collier County was the distinguished speaker. The program was offered both on site and via Zoom.
Judi Palay, LWVCC Voter Services Committee Chair, gave an eloquent introduction of Jennifer Edwards. After telling those in attendance basic information about the League of Women Voters Collier County she spoke of the good relationship between the LWVCC and the SOE office.
Following a presentation of information on voter statistics, turnout and the meticulous procedures followed in the 2020 election, Ms. Edwards graciously acknowledged the presence of members of the LWVCC and expressed gratitude for the support of the League. Members of the Voter Services Committee were on hand to give information about voter registration and answer questions. Printed materials were available for people to take.
